Trick-or-Treating allowed again in Oil City

10/31/08 04:09

After 16 years of banning, nighttime trick-or-treating is once again allowed in Oil City, Pennsylvania. The practice was banned in 1992 after a child was abducted days before Halloween.

The practice was allowed once again after a ten-year-old, together with her morther, filed a petition to the local city council, which then reviewed the petition and eventually approved it.

Welcome back, Halloween, to Oil City.

Autumn in Pennsylvania

10/06/08 13:38
If there's one season that I personally like, that would be autumn. For me, there is something romantic, relaxing, but at the same time depressing at the very sight of dried leaves falling down from the tips of the tree branches to the dirt below the ground. There is something sentimental with seeing leaves drying out and eventually dying, which plays out until winter comes.

Come and visit Pennsylvania, where autumn is unlike everywhere is.
