Groundhog day

Groundhog Day is an annual holiday myth celebrated on the 2nd of February which folklore say that when a groundhog emerges from its burrow and it doesn't see a shadow because of cloudy weather, winter will soon end and if it see a shadow then the winter will continue for six more days.

In Punxsutawney, this event is takes place on Gobbler's Knob, a tiny hill in Punxsutawney and Groundhog Day festivities are Pennsylvania's largest tourist gathering in the winter.

This year, the world's most famous groundhog saw his shadow which mean that there will be a longer winter. More on the link below.
