Hot Bed Era for UFOs

If you think UFO sighting are exclusive to the Midwest, well, you will have to think again.

Pennsylvania had its time when there was an outrageous number of UFO sightings reports, specifically in the years 1972-1973. Back then, reports were numerous, particularly in the southwestern part of the state.

Today, those years are now dubbed among UFO enthusiast circles as the "PA Hot Bed Era".

I am from Erie and last week during the crazy heat lightning storm (Tuesday or Wednesday maybe?), my girlfriend and I witness what appeared to be a large green orb "fall" from the sky quite similar to a shooting star. This was before the recent meteor shower. It was witnessed from the Mercyhurst College main lawn and the incident was due north. Did anyone else see this?
