Unemployment Compensation Policy

The Pennsylvania Chamber believes that the PA Unemployment Compensation laws are out of whack compared to other states. Some of the changes they want include:

• Temporary benefits only for those unemployed because of circumstances that are no fault of their own.
• The use of an experience rating to more fairly compute exployer taxes.
• Better State employment search system
