State assitance during recovery from surgery
On 03/05/09 02:58, Danielle Turnbull asked the following question:
I am currently out of work on disability, which I only get paid 40% of my base paycheck. On top of that, I have to come out of pocket at least $100 a week on physical therapy and prescription costs. I have health coverage with high co-pays. I can't make ends meet but need to stay out of work until I am healed from reconstructive neck surgery. This is my third neck surgery, the last two failed to fuse. Is there anyway I can collect the difference in pay from unemployment? Or is there any state assistance that could help me? I am sinking quick from all my bills.
